  • Where do you source your domestic helpers?
    We source our domestic helpers primarily from the Philippines. However, we also offer flexibility to cater to your specific preferences, including the availability of candidates from other countries such as Indonesia.
  • What kind of counseling do you provide?
    We provide counseling on mindfulness, how to be productive, family values, mental health check, education on Chinese culture and expectations.
  • How does a cooking workshop work?
    We provide 12 free cooking workshops for the domestic helper. Employers and kids of the family are also welcomed to join at no charge. We also provide cooking and caregiving workshops for the elderly.
  • How do you vouch for your domestic helper?
    We work closely with our partners in the Philippines and Indonesia, that train our domestic helpers with household chores, taking care of infants and elderlies, and basic Cantonese communication.
  • What are all the fees needed to pay?
    Processing fee, domestic helper Insurance, Hong Kong medical test (optional), and air ticket (optional).
  • What is the minimum salary for a domestic helper in 2024?
    The government has announced that all domestic helper employment contract signed on or after 30th September 2023 has a minimum salary of HK$4,870 per month.
  • What are the holidays for domestic helper in 2024?
    Domestic Helpers' Statutory holidays for 2024 are as follows: 1. The first day of January - 1 January 2. Lunar New Year's Day - 10 February 3. The third day of Lunar New Year - 12 February 4. The fourth day of Lunar New Year - 13 February 5. Ching Ming Festival - 4 April 6. Labour Day - 1 May 7. The Birthday of the Buddha - 15 May 8. Tuen Ng Festival - 10 June 9. Hong Kong Special Administrative Region Establishment Day - 1 July 10. The day following the Chinese Mid-Autumn Festival - 18 September 11. National Day - 1 October 12. Chung Yeung Festival - 11 October 13. Chinese Winter Solstice Festival or Christmas Day (at the option of the employer) - 21 December or 25 December 14. The first weekday after Christmas Day - 26 December Giving your maid a day off on statutory holidays is mandatory and cannot be skipped. Regardless of the duration of service, whether it's 2 years or 2 days, your domestic helper must be given the day off on statutory holidays. If your domestic helper has been employed for at least 3 months under a continuous contract, she is entitled to paid statutory holidays. If the employment period is less than 3 months, statutory holidays are still mandatory, but the decision to provide payment rests solely with you. It is not permissible to ask your domestic worker to work on a statutory holiday, even if you offer additional payment. Attempting to substitute payment for the holiday can result in penalties. If, due to exceptional circumstances, you require your housemaid to work on a statutory holiday, you must inform her at least 48 hours in advance and arrange for an alternative day off within a 2-month period before or after the statutory holiday. If a statutory holiday falls on your domestic helper's regular day off, you must grant her a mandatory day off on a non-statutory holiday following the statutory holiday. Alternatively, you can provide her with an alternative holiday, a substituted holiday, or another rest day. It's important to note that her regular day off cannot coincide with a statutory holiday, except when the holiday falls on a Sunday, in which case it automatically moves to the following Monday.
